Malti Agritech and Farming Institute was born from a journey of perseverance, love, and inspiration.

Our founder, Balbir Kumar Singh, grew up in a small town, Kaiserganj (Sidharkhi village), Uttar Pradesh, where facilities were limited but dreams were limitless. With strong determination, he completed his M.A. and B.Ed. degrees by 1980, and after years of hard work, secured a position as a government school teacher in 1990. During this journey, he married his life partner, who supported him wholeheartedly through every phase of life.

Together, they raised three daughters, focusing immensely on their education and careers — one became a doctor, another chose teaching, and the youngest entered the software industry. After a lifetime of dedication to his family and service, Balbir Singh retired in March 2021 and settled in Lucknow.

Inspired to stay active and driven by the desire to start something meaningful, he explored various opportunities and found a deep interest in saffron farming. His wife, always his strongest supporter, was thrilled about this new venture. Sadly, before the dream could fully materialize, she passed away, leaving behind her blessings and vision.

To honor her memory and fulfill their shared dream, his youngest daughter, Priyansha Singh (a software professional, born 24 June 1992), decided to join hands with her father. With rigorous study, training, and passion, they officially launched Malti Agritech — combining modern farming techniques with timeless values of dedication and care.

Today, Malti Agritech and Farming Institute specializes in controlled environment saffron farming and has also expanded into turmeric cultivation. Every effort we make carries the inspiration of a mother’s dream, a father’s perseverance, and a family’s commitment to growth.

We believe that somewhere, she is still blessing this journey — and through every flower of saffron that blooms, her spirit shines.
